Our Privacy Promise

Last updated: 21 July 2026

Hi there. When you use dokani.org for your shop, you're trusting us with your business data. As the people behind this platform, we take that trust seriously. We wrote this policy in plain English to explain exactly what we do with your information.

What we collect (and why)

To get your account set up, we just need basic things like your name, email, and mobile number. As you use the app, we securely store your day-to-day business data—like your products, sales, inventory, and customer details. We only keep what’s absolutely necessary to make the POS work smoothly for you.

If you sign in with Google, we only grab your name and email to create your account. We never see your password.

How we use your data

Your data belongs to you. We only use it to run the service—like generating your invoices, keeping your stock updated, and sending SMS to your customers when you ask us to. We might also look at error logs to fix bugs and improve the app. That's it.

We don't sell your data

Let's be clear: we are in the software business, not the data-selling business. We never sell your personal or business information to anyone. We only share data with a few trusted partners (like our secure hosting providers and payment gateways) just so the app can actually function.

Your control

You're in control. As long as you use our app, we'll keep your data safe. If you ever decide to leave, or if you just want to see or delete your data, just reach out to us. We might have to keep a few transaction records if the law requires it, but everything else is yours to manage.

Reach out anytime

If you ever have a question or a concern about your privacy, just email us at dokaniorg@gmail.com. A real human will read it and get back to you.
